The Frogs Legnano American football club field youth tackle teams across all three age divisions—Under-12, Under-15, and Under-18—featuring both male and female athletes on the gridiron. The milestone gives the organization representation across every youth tier as a result of systematic program development.
Under-18 Squad Opens the Season Against Panthers Parma
The Under-18 squad launches the club’s competitive slate this Sunday, Oct. 25, hosting the Panthers Parma in their opening fixture. The team competes in Group B alongside the Giaguari Torino, Panthers Parma, and Seamen Milano. All home fixtures for the Under-18 division take place at the facility located on Via Sette Termini in Varese.
Investment in Youth Pipeline Since 2019
Securing representation across the Under-12, Under-15, and Under-18 tackle divisions marks an operational checkpoint for the organization. Since 2019, Frogs Legnano management has dedicated organizational labor, time, and financial resources toward cultivating a youth nursery for both tackle and flag disciplines. Matteo Guarneri, head of youth sectors for Frogs Legnano, noted that fielding three youth teams validates years of steady effort.
“Bringing all three youth categories onto the field is a source of great satisfaction and represents the result of work carried out consistently over the years,” Guarneri said. He added that the club views the initiative as a vital investment in both the current personal development of participating boys and girls and the long-term competitive future of the senior squads.
