Free Archery Open House: Archers de Vaugon Host Halloween Event

Archers in Vern-sur-Seiche are trading standard blasons for seasonal targets as the Archers de Vaugon open their practice grounds to the public for a Halloween-themed open house. The club is welcoming participants of all skill levels on Saturday, October 31, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., at La Planche-Villegast between Vern and Chantepie, facing the Bois de Soeuvres, Ouest-France reported.

Target Setups and Equipment Provided at La Planche-Villegast

Visitors stepping onto the shooting line will find setups tailored for every level of experience. The club has arranged a variety of targets spanning traditional paper blasons, playful designs, and 3D foam targets positioned between 10 and 25 meters away. Participants do not need to bring their own gear, as necessary equipment will be lent on-site. Club members will remain stationed alongside newcomers to supervise initial shots and share their enthusiasm for the sport.

Admission to the Saturday event is entirely free, with the grounds situated near the Paysage Services parking lot. Organizers have set up contact channels for participants seeking further details via [email protected] or by phone at 06 36 39 54 43.

Salle de la Seiche Prepares for November 3D Competition

Beyond the Halloween open house, the club is preparing for its next scheduled gathering on the final weekend of November at the Salle de la Seiche. That event will feature a friendly 3D archery competition built around a psychedelic and comic theme. Archers will line up across roughly twenty shooting lanes to take aim at foam targets embedded within theatrical stage settings. Spectator stands and a refreshment bar will remain open to the public throughout the weekend tournament.
