Adam reaches SuperStar top 50 after performance gets 1 million views

Seventeen-year-old Czech singer Adam has advanced to the top 50 of SuperStar after earning a Golden Ticket during the competition’s casting round, drawing over a million views on his performance of Věra Špinarová’s hit “Jednou se vrátíš.”

Adam Secures Place in Top 50 Singers

Adam, a resident of Plzeň who studies at a language school in Germany, secured his place in the top 50 of the televised singing competition after performing the classic track “Jednou se vrátíš,” originally popularized by Věra Špinarová. Pavol Habera praised the teenager’s performance, noting his vocal quality and telling him he has a great voice and strong talent.

The young singer admitted to battling stage fright before stepping in front of the judges. He hadn’t sung for a month leading up to the audition due to personal issues, but the nerves vanished within seconds of starting. His progression to the next phase of the competition follows earlier musical victories in contests such as Hvězdy z ulice and Miri Giľi, alongside past concert appearances with Bára Basiková and Jan Bendig.

Social Media Response Overwhelms Young Singer

Following the broadcast of his audition, Adam experienced a massive surge in online engagement. A video of his performance posted on the official Facebook profile of SuperStar accumulated more than one million views, accompanied by thousands of comments from viewers.

The sudden influx of attention forced the teenager to disconnect. He had to turn off his phone for three days following the broadcast because the response was so overwhelming. His follower count on Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok increased by roughly 25,000 accounts per day.

While he advanced smoothly past the initial rounds without securing an immediate Platinum Ticket, supporters online voiced questions about why he missed out on the higher-tier advancement. Adam expressed gratitude for the backing from fans and family, noting that he appreciates the support as he prepares for the upcoming semifinal rounds.

Upcoming Semifinals and Original Music Plans

Alongside his preparations for the next stages of SuperStar, Adam continues to write and record his own material. He recently released a new single titled “Hvězdy,” embracing the creative pressure that comes with balancing television appearances and independent music production.

Looking past the current competition cycle, the young artist plans to continue pursuing a professional career in music regardless of the final outcome. His long-term goals include releasing a full-length studio album, launching a concert tour, collaborating with singer Lucka Bílá, and eventually performing a headline concert at O2 arena.
