Under an ideal running sky, the Route du Wine half marathon delivered commanding performances from the tournament favorites as Yonas Kindé and Jenny Gloden secured the respective men’s and women’s titles.
Yonas Kindé Controls the Men’s Field
Racing under the banner of Celtic, Yonas Kindé dictated the pace from the start and crossed the finish line first to capture the men’s crown. Kindé established a clear hierarchy throughout the course, leaving no room for doubt as he pulled away from the chasing pack. Behind him, Jimmy Keiffer of Fola secured second place, while Niall Foley of CAEG Grevenmacher rounded out the men’s podium in third.
Jenny Gloden Dominates Women’s Race for Fola
In the women’s division, Jenny Gloden of Fola mastered her effort from start to finish to claim victory. Gloden’s wire-to-wire performance outpaced a strong contingent from Celtic, which managed to place two athletes within the top three. Anne Reiser took second place for Celtic, closely followed by clubmate Lara Georges in third, capping a successful club showing.
