The route is tailored for climbers, puncheurs, and resilient sprinters, offering multiple opportunities for breakaways. Just 8.9 kilometers into the race, riders face the first categorized climb at Uloža, a category-two ascent averaging a 4,9 % gradient. The race crosses its opening intermediate sprint in Spišská Kapitula after more than 45 kilometers of racing, before passing through Levoča, a second sprint in Kežmarku, and rolling through Tatranská Lomnica, Starý Smokovec, Tatranské Zruby, Tatranská Polianka, and Vyšné Hágy. The major GC checkpoint arrives at the 127-kilometer mark with a category-one mountain premium at Štrbské Pleso. General Classification and Contenders

French rider Paul Magnier of Soudal Quick-Step enters the second stage wearing the yellow jersey as the overall leader after winning the opening stage. According to the race standings provided by BetArena.sk, Magnier holds a five-second lead over Belgian rider Jenthe Biermans (Cofidis) and a seven-second advantage over Norwegian rider Sander Granberg (Team Drali – Repsol).

Magnier also leads the points classification in the green jersey. Following the final intermediate sprint in Liptovský Hrádek roughly 24 km from the finish, the race heads into Liptovský Mikuláš. Riders will complete a finishing circuit via Bobrovec and Trstené before hitting the final sprint to the line.
