Los Angeles Dodgers two-way star Shohei Ohtani secured the top spot in Major League Baseball’s official 2026 jersey sales rankings, marking his fourth year leading the league in merchandise demand since the league began tracking jersey sales rankings in 2010.
The league and MLB Players Inc. released the figures based on sales from MLBShop.com since Opening Day.
Dodgers Stars Fill Out Top Ranks Alongside Ohtani
Following their recent championship runs, the Dodgers placed four players inside the top ten of the 2026 sales hierarchy. Alongside Ohtani at number one, Freddie Freeman landed at sixth, Mookie Betts secured the eighth spot, and Yoshinobu Yamamoto climbed to ninth.
Junction of MVPs and Rising Stars
New York Yankees outfielder Aaron Judge claimed the second spot on the list. Despite missing significant stretches of the season due to injuries, the former American League MVP remains one of the sport’s most reliable retail draws.
Meanwhile, Chicago Cubs outfielder Pete Crow-Armstrong vaulted into the third position after a breakthrough campaign that featured a 40-homer and 40-steal performance, establishing him as a prime National League MVP candidate. The placement represents the highest ranking for a Cubs player since Javier Báez tied for third in 2018.
