Sejong City Hall’s Eun-ji Lee extended her strong form in the singles draw, reaching the final and taking home the silver medal. Her performance in Yanggu follows a similar runner-up finish at the 2026 Yeosu Open held in March. By reaching back-to-back finals in domestic industrial tennis competitions, Lee has cemented her status as one of the top-ranked players on the national circuit. Her path to the silver medal was marked by a consistent, high-level tactical approach to her matches throughout the tournament.
Team Performance in Yanggu
The team’s success extended beyond individual play, with the squad demonstrating depth in the team events. The roster, consisting of Eun-ji Lee, Han-gyeol Jeong, Woo-hyeok Jang, and Jun-ha Jang, used a cohesive organizational strategy to move through the tournament brackets. Both the men’s and women’s teams advanced to the semifinals, ultimately finishing in third place.
