The competition was originally scheduled to run until 2:30 p.m., providing a morning of fast-paced 3×3 matches in one of the city’s most prominent public squares.
Weather Disruptions Cut Afternoon Schedule Short
Unfavorable weather forced an early end to the proceedings. Rain arrived in the area and compelled organizers to suspend the final stretch of the tournament. Despite the premature stoppage, tournament officials confirmed that a substantial portion of the scheduled group matches had already been successfully contested, allowing the young athletes to experience hours of competitive play before the downpour halted action.

The Albacete event marked the fourth of seven scheduled stops on the regional circuit’s calendar for the season.
