Also man kann sich vorstellen, wie der Junge sich gefühlt hat. Erste Rote Karte hier als Bundesliga-Profi, dann in diesem Stadion, hat der Mannschaft dann sicherlich keinen Gefallen getan.”

Kovac emphasized that the incident serves as a learning curve for the developing professional. When asked what advice he offered the teenager, the coach stated: “Yes, Leben geht weiter, es macht man ja nicht mit Absicht. Und letzten Endes muss er daraus lernen. Er kam ein bisschen zu spät, aber das ist ja das, was wir wollen. Der Junge ist emotional dabei.”
