According to reports from De Telegraaf, West Bromwich Albion has agreed to pay roughly 1.5 million euros to secure Pereira from the Eredivisie club. The defender’s contract with NEC was originally set to run until the summer of 2027.
Pereira initially arrived in Nijmegen during the summer of 2023 on a loan deal from French side Auxerre before NEC made the transfer permanent. Over his tenure with the club, Pereira has made 85 appearances across all competitions, contributing three goals and seven assists.
