The 2025 awards commission, presided over by Professor Piergiorgio Fabbri, selected volleyball player Marco Marzola for the Filippide d’Argento career award. Marzola’s playing career included stints with Portomaggiore, Conselice, Ferrara, Loreto, and Sora, reaching Serie A1 before finishing his on-court career back at Team Volley Portomaggiore and lifting the squad into Serie A3. He currently serves as a coach in Belluno in Serie A3.
