Incident Details and Arrest in Pisogne
The confrontation occurred during the late hours of Monday, September 7, inside a family residence in Pisogne. According to reports from Bresciaoggi and BresciaToday, a local man already known to law enforcement became agitated during a domestic argument over minor reasons and attacked his mother.
Authorities stated that the suspect struck the victim with shoves, slaps, and spitting before escalating the altercation. He then allegedly grabbed a wooden baseball bat and used it to threaten the woman.
Law Enforcement Response and Victim Rescue
Despite experiencing panic and fear, the victim managed to contact the 112 Emergency Number (NUE) for help. The prompt call triggered an immediate law enforcement response.
Patrols from the Carabinieri Station of Pisogne, supported by colleagues from the Piancogno Station and a Radiomobile unit, arrived at the residence within minutes. Officers entered the home and secured the victim. According to police accounts published by BresciaToday, the suspect continued to hurl insults at his mother even in the presence of the responding military personnel.
Medical Treatment and Judicial Actions
Emergency medical personnel from 118 arrived at the scene shortly after the intervention. Medical staff transported the injured woman to the hospital in Esine for examination and treatment of her injuries, as reported by Bresciaoggi.
Following the intervention, the suspect was arrested in flagrante delicto for family mistreatment (maltrattamenti in famiglia). Informed of the developments, judicial authorities ordered the man transferred to prison pending further proceedings.
