The direct Lima-to-Los Angeles tickets will be up for grabs in archery, track and field (atletismo), badminton, handball (balonmano), boxing, cycling, aquatic sports, equestrian sports, sport climbing, field hockey, modern pentathlon, squash, surfing, taekwondo, tennis, table tennis, shooting, triathlon, and sailing. In addition to these direct-qualification disciplines, the organizing committee indicated that another nine sports will award ranking points toward the Olympic qualification tables.
Parapan American Qualification Path to Los Angeles 2028
The qualification pathway extends directly into the Paralympic program. The organizing committee confirmed in a press release that the Parapan American Games will serve as direct qualifiers for 14 sports leading into the Los Angeles 2028 Paralympic Games.
