Local authorities have established a comprehensive security and logistics operation involving 580 personnel to manage crowd separation, traffic control, and ticketing procedures for the neutral-site elimination match.
Gustavo Velázquez, coordinator of Sports and Mass Events for Rosario, outlined the operational framework during an interview with Cada Día on El Tres. The deployment aims to maintain separation between the opposing fanbases across all phases of the matchday, utilizing dedicated transit perimeters, distinct gathering sectors, and staggered entry times.
Stadium Allocation and Crowd Control
Security planners have divided the Estadio Gigante de Arroyito into strict zones to prevent clashes between the two fanbases.
Boca fans will occupy the southern header stand (popular Sur), the river-facing grandstand (platea del río), and a section of the Cordiviola grandstand. Their designated point of concentration and stadium access is Avenida Avellaneda, aligning with the header stand in that direction.
Racing fans will occupy the northern header stand (popular Norte) and the remaining portion of the Cordiviola grandstand. Their concentration and entry sector is established in the Parque Alem area, on the opposite side of the venue. Designated safety buffers will separate the opposing sections within the stands.
Traffic Restrictions and Mobility
The Rosario Control Secretariat has established a perimeter around the stadium to restrict vehicle circulation. Road closures will begin at 11:00 a.m. local time on Sunday within the sector bounded by del Valle Ibarlucea, Cayetano Silva, Avellaneda, Centenario, and De Los Trabajadores streets.
Municipal authorities advised residents and non-attendees to avoid the Arroyito neighborhood before kickoff and immediately following the final whistle. Drivers who must travel through the surrounding area are instructed to exercise caution.
Stadium gates will open at 15:00 local time, two hours prior to kickoff, to allow for an orderly entry process. Organizers recommend that spectators arrive early with their physical tickets and national identity documents (DNI) ready for mandatory security checks under the Tribuna Segura program.
Ticketing and Ticket Exchange Logistics
Physical ticket collection and remaining ticket sales are organized through separate venues based on club affiliation.
The exchange point and remaining ticket sales for Racing Club supporters are hosted at La Playa de la Música on Saturday, continuing on Sunday morning. For Boca Juniors supporters, the designated location for ticket exchange and remaining ticket sales is the Estadio Coloso Marcelo Bielsa throughout Saturday.
