Gold and Regional Records for the Master Barebow Squad

The standout performance of the national tournament came from the Arco Nudo Master team. Gionata Re, Roberto Imperatori, and Marco Feliziani teamed up to capture the gold medal and the Italian championship title in a hard-fought competition. Their combined score of 1796 set a new regional record for the category. Individually, Gionata Re also set a new regional benchmark by shooting 616 points.

Youth Success and Individual Silver Triumphs

The club’s youth divisions continued to prove their worth as a core strength of the organization. The Arco Ricurvo Ragazze squad, featuring Emma Sciapichetti, Sofia Buson, and Maria Viola, claimed a silver medal after consistent performances throughout the season.

As the competition moved into Saturday’s direct elimination rounds for absolute titles, the momentum held strong. Re, Imperatori, and Feliziani advanced to Sunday’s barebow team final, while Marco Seri earned a spot in the individual compound final. Both athletes secured silver medals in their respective Sunday showdowns, rounding out a four-medal haul for the club.

High-Profile Attendance and Upcoming Competitions

The medal ceremonies in Lombardy featured high-ranking figures, including Minister of Economy and Finances Giancarlo Giorgetti, Lombardy Region President Attilio Fontana, the Mayor of Canegrate, and senior executives from the Italian Archery Federation, according to reports.

Despite concluding their campaign in Canegrate, the outdoor season for the Belforte del Chienti club remains active. The squad prepares next for the Italian Field Archery Championships scheduled from September 18 to 20 in Vitulano, Benevento, where they will field a men’s team, three youth representatives, and a competitor in the women’s compound division.
