The 2026 China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS) opened at Beijing’s Shougang Park, showcasing advanced technologies ranging from wearable robotics and artificial intelligence international trade agents to high-temperature superconducting nuclear models and precision sports officiating systems.

Running from Sept. 9 to 13, the trade fair features dedicated zones for thematic exhibitions, country showcases, regional pavilions, and specialized sectors including telecommunications, computer and information services, environmental and energy services, and sports services, according to event organizers.

Exoskeleton Robotics and Digital Trade Platforms

Visitors navigating the extensive exhibition grounds utilized wearable exoskeleton technology showcased by newcomer Kenqing Technology within the telecommunications and information services pavilion. According to company representatives, the robotics incorporate advanced sensor networks and power control systems designed to synchronize with human movement and provide adaptable user-controlled assistance. Kenqing Technology reports that its overseas footprint spans over 50 countries and regions, with European and North American markets comprising its primary customer base.

Nearby, digital platforms enabled streamlined international commerce for individual operators. At the Alibaba exhibition booth, representatives highlighted the utilization of corporate artificial intelligence agent platforms such as Accio Work. Launched five months prior to the exhibition, the platform recorded a paying merchant base exceeding 50,000 users, according to company data.

He Qionghua, head of the telecommunications, computer, and information services thematic exhibition, stated that the fair introduced a dedicated “digital friendly” zone featuring 50 leading enterprises—including Meituan, Kuaishou, and Baidu—displaying 41 digital solutions.

Fast-Charging Technology and Nuclear Innovations

Within the environmental and energy services zone, BYD displayed fast-charging capabilities aimed at reducing vehicle charging times. Wang Ming, deputy director of the flash-charging business planning and promotion department at BYD Group, stated that the company’s second-generation blade battery architecture achieves a charge capacity from 10% to 97% in nine minutes, requiring coordination between latest-generation vehicles and compatible charging infrastructure. Wang added that cold-weather charging times extend by three minutes to complete in 12 minutes.

Exhibiting at CIFTIS for the first time, China National Nuclear Corporation (CNNC) presented several energy and medical models, highlighted by a display of its Circular Four reactor. A CNNC exhibition representative noted that unlike the Circular Three model, Circular Four incorporates high-temperature superconducting technology, though clarified that the term denotes a relative classification rather than room-temperature superconductivity. The enterprise scheduled a product launch event for the afternoon of Sept. 10 to unveil five new innovations.

AI Officiating and Sports Technology

The sports services zone featured interactive technologies, headlined by an electronic officiating system presented by Ruigai Technology. Stationed in the table tennis exhibition area, the system utilizes high-speed cameras alongside three-dimensional modeling and trajectory-tracking algorithms to render automated “in” or “out” calls.

Li Jiaqi, an exhibition representative for Ruigai Technology, explained that the high-speed camera setup captures the velocity, spin angle, and spatial coordinates of the table tennis ball, while tracking algorithms divide the playing area into millimeter-grade grids to simulate a 3D trajectory in real time. According to company figures, Ruigai Technology’s electronic line-calling systems have been deployed at over 20 international elite tournaments and exported to more than 20 countries and regions.

In addition to competitive officiating exhibits, the sports zone integrated public engagement areas dedicated to laser shooting, metaverse spectator experiences, artificial intelligence motion capture, and smart venue management, alongside displays of sports intellectual property merchandise and outdoor gear.
