Parrott arrived in Seville shortly before the fixture against Real Sociedad after completing a full pre-season regimen with Dutch club AZ Alkmaar. While he missed out on the matchday squad against Real Sociedad, the forward subsequently logged his first official minutes in the closing stages of the match against Valencia at Mestalla.
