Seocheon Family Center Launches Badminton Club for Married Immigrants’ Health and Social Connection

The Seocheon-gun Family Center in South Chungcheong Province has launched a badminton club specifically designed for married immigrants, according to an announcement by the center.

Led by Center Director Ji Seung-hoon, the newly formed club brings together 10 married immigrants with the primary goals of improving their physical health and fostering active social interaction within the local community.

The initiative aims to provide participants with regular athletic activity while creating a supportive environment where they can build social networks and adapt smoothly to life in the region. Center officials noted that group sports programs serve as an effective medium for reducing isolation and encouraging community integration among new residents.

Further details regarding the club’s meeting schedules and training locations can be obtained directly through the Seocheon-gun Family Center.
