Municipal and sports authorities confirmed that the international competition will feature compound and recurve disciplines, utilizing the Plaza de Armas and Callejón Santos Rojo as the primary venues for head-to-head elimination matches and training.

Saltillo Mayor Javier Díaz González detailed that the setup places the shooting range and spectator seating directly in front of iconic local landmarks, including the Palacio de Gobierno and the Catedral de Santiago.
Organizers plan to erect temporary grandstands with a capacity ranging between 1,000 and 1,500 spectators. The adjacent Callejón Santos Rojo will serve as a dedicated training ground for the athletes. The event is coordinated jointly by the Government of Coahuila, the Municipality of Saltillo, the Comisión Nacional de Cultura Física y Deporte (Conade), and World Archery México.
Elite Field and Mexican Competitors
The tournament features an exclusive field of 32 archers—split evenly into eight women and eight men across the recurve and compound categories. Qualification is earned strictly through points accumulated across the global World Cup stages held throughout the year.
Local fans will watch several prominent Mexican and Coahuilan athletes compete on home soil. Mayor Díaz González confirmed that local standouts Matías Grande and Ana Paula Vázquez are set to participate, alongside fellow Olympian Ángela Ruiz. Mexico enters the event backed by strong recent momentum, following a women’s team bronze medal at the Paris Olympic Games secured by Ruiz, Vázquez, and Alejandra Valencia.
