Apple Arcade has detailed its gaming lineup for September 2026, headlined by the upcoming release of NFL Retro Bowl ’27 and the ad-free mobile hit Block Blast!+ according to official company announcements.
The service continues to expand its library of titles that remain entirely free of advertisements and in-app purchases. According to official release schedules, the September 2026 content rollout emphasizes both casual puzzle experiences and deep sports franchise updates designed for iPhones, iPads, Macs, Apple TVs, and Apple Vision Pros.
Block Blast!+ and Cozy Puzzles Lead September Additions
According to Apple’s official newsroom announcements, the puzzle category receives a major expansion on September 3, 2026, with the introduction of Block Blast!+ and Art of Fauna: Cozy Tierpuzzle+. Block Blast!+ brings one of the world’s most downloaded grid-based puzzle games to the subscription tier, allowing players to clear rows and columns and chase high scores completely uninterrupted by ads.
Accompanying it is Art of Fauna: Cozy Tierpuzzle+, which previously won an App Store Award in the Cultural Influence category. The game combines traditional jigsaw-style mechanics with wildlife storytelling and accessibility features designed for relaxed, self-paced sessions. These titles join an existing roster of arcade puzzle mainstays that includes Grindstone, Flow Free+, and Crossword Jam+.
NFL Retro Bowl ’27 Launches with Gauntlet Mode
Sports fans tuning into mobile gridiron action will receive a substantial update when NFL Retro Bowl ’27 debuts on September 3, 2026. Published by New Star Games under official league and union licensing, the retro-styled title introduces an action-packed new Gauntlet mode for the upcoming football season.

The franchise has established a following for blending pixel-art aesthetics with authentic franchise management and on-field play calling. The addition of the Gauntlet mode follows previous iterations like NFL Retro Bowl ’26, which incorporated live-updating weekly championship leaderboards matching the real-world professional schedule.
Expanded Family and Board Game Offerings
Alongside the football and block-puzzling titles, the September 3 release wave includes Coloring Games for Families+, featuring over 3,000 creative activities for users of all ages. Also arriving on that date is Let’s Play! Oink Games+, a digital tabletop compilation featuring nine distinct board and card games ranging from cooperative missions to bluffing mechanics, playable solo, locally with friends, or online.
Existing titles across the service are also slated for seasonal refreshes. Puffies adds 28 new illustration packs on August 12, featuring art collections themed around Oden Tomodachi and The Knights. Simon’s Cat – Blast Time rolls out 200 new levels starting August 20 at a rate of 50 per week, while stitch. marks its milestone of 800 unique embroidery hoops on August 26 with a dedicated anniversary challenge and achievement.
