Churin serves as a Level 1 coach and coordinates the Pergamino Badminton Sports School. At the tournament in Brazil, he entered three distinct playing categories and secured a pair of third-place podium finishes.
Single and Doubles Breakdown
In the men’s singles +50 division, Churin won his opening round of 16 match before exiting in the quarterfinals against Z. Chen, the top-seeded player from Paraguay who ultimately claimed the division championship, as detailed by local sports coverage.
Partnering with Carolina Gasio of the Buenos Aires club Shibadminton in mixed doubles, Churin secured three victories in the preliminary rounds before dropping a semifinal match against the eventual tournament champions. In the men’s doubles draw, Churin teamed up with Dirk Gerards from the Bariloche Badminton Association.
