Marriott Bonvoy Launches NFL Player-Curated City Guides for Fans

Marriott Bonvoy has officially released 37 custom city guides designed by current and former NFL players, offering traveling fans an insider’s view of domestic and international host cities beyond the stadium gates.

Player-Curated Recommendations and Local Insights

The newly launched City Guides feature personal picks from prominent football figures, including Cooper Kupp, Jordan Mailata, Fred Warner, Todd Gurley, Jerry Rice, and Mark Ingram II. Additional guides spotlighting players like Fred Warner in San Francisco and Kyle Hamilton in Baltimore are scheduled for release later in the season.

Every guide incorporates visual artwork created by well-known social media illustrator Jeff Cole. The artwork focuses on local traditions, favorite establishments, and community touchpoints that shaped the athletes’ experiences in their respective home and host markets.

Expanded Fan Experiences and Hospitality Packages

Alongside the digital and print guides, Marriott Bonvoy announced several fan engagement programs tied to the NFL season. The hospitality brand is rolling out a 10-episode content series following various players through their host cities, accompanied by custom rewards on the Marriott Bonvoy Moments platform. Fans can also purchase exclusive City Guide travel packages in select markets, which bundle game tickets, hotel accommodations, and curated local excursions.

The program also brings back the brand’s signature “Super Bowl Sleepover Suite” contest. This promotion grants a winning fan the opportunity to stay overnight in a luxury hotel suite constructed directly inside SoFi Stadium on the eve of the championship game.

Connecting Global Supporters Through Advertising

In tandem with the guide release, the hospitality brand debuted a new advertising campaign titled “Long-Distance NFL Relationships.” The campaign acknowledges and celebrates fans whose allegiance to their favorite teams persists despite long-distance travel and geographical separation from the team’s home stadium.
