The collaboration stems from a strategic partnership established in April 2026 between SPEEDSTAR and Fukuchiyama United, a local non-profit organization managing 16 team categories and roughly 400 youth members while playing a leading role in regional school club activities reform.

Event details show that the “FUKUCHIYAMA SPORTS FESTA 2026” runs from 10:00 to 17:00 local time (UTC+9) at the Sandaike Sports Park site in Izaki, Fukuchiyama. In addition to the individual and team sprint competitions, the festival encompasses multiple concurrent sporting programs across the park facilities. These include a judo event titled “UNITED HEROES,” a soft tennis exhibition at the tennis courts, multi-sport experience sessions at the main arena and grounds, and an “Active Festa” program hosted in the sub-arena, according to organizing disclosures.
As part of the programming, 2012 London Olympics men's 4x100m relay Japanese national team member Taku Kuki will lead a running clinic directed at elementary school students.

Advance registration for the kids’ running clinic, individual tournament brackets, and team competitions is scheduled to open on August 12, 2026, through the Japan Association of Athletics Federations official event portal, while on-site registration will remain available for designated SPEEDSTAR experience lanes. The event is backed by the Japan Association of Athletics Federations as a supporter, with JIG-SAW Corporation participating as a platinum partner.
