According to Radio-Canada, a passenger vehicle left the roadway on Route 138 in Maskinongé after rolling over several times. The vehicle was carrying three men when the crash occurred mid-afternoon. Emergency responders, including firefighters equipped with jaws of life extraction tools, rushed to the scene to free the trapped occupants from the wreckage.
The front-seat passenger ultimately succumbed to his injuries, while medical personnel confirmed that the driver is currently out of danger.
