According to News18, three men trained to mimic the grunts and hoots of langurs have been brought in to patrol the arena grounds. The approach relies on the concept that smaller macaques are intimidated by bigger langurs, which are thought to retreat upon hearing their vocalizations.

Beyond human impersonators, the Sports Authority of India (SAI) and venue managers have reinforced the physical infrastructure of the Indira Gandhi Arena. SAI executive director Ambar Pratap Singh confirmed that administrators have introduced double doors and an automatic closing system to prevent monkeys from entering the arena.
While the arena is secured, managing the wider campus requires municipal coordination. Singh noted that organizers remain in regular contact with the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) to ensure stray dogs and monkeys are kept away from the venue.
