According to official governing body announcements and tournament calendars from the Badminton Association of India, the upcoming global showdown will feature top-tier singles and doubles competitors from across the international circuit.

Based in New Delhi, the Badminton Association of India acts as the governing body for the sport nationwide. Registered under the societies act and formed originally in 1934, the organization has coordinated national-level tournaments since 1936.
Records from the association show an extensive domestic framework supported by 33 state associations and four affiliated organizations that oversee competitive play across multiple age divisions, ranging from senior ranks down to midget under-13 categories.
