For 15-year-old Aitor Ramiro, the call-up marks his debut with the senior national setup. His selection rewards a strong medal haul that includes a U18 indoor national title last season and a U15 national championship the year prior, alongside six team gold medals at Spanish championships.

As she enters her final U21 season, her steady progression continues to guide younger island athletes. Meanwhile, Eduardo Santolaria heads to Slovenia following a triple-medal performance at the Ploiesti European competition. Santolaria currently trains at the Centro de Alto Rendimiento de León.
