“It is a dream come true,” Chacarra said. “Playing a major is already something very special, but ‘The British’ has a different meaning. Since I was a child, I dreamed of being here because I grew up watching videos of Seve Ballesteros, how he dominated the links, and everything he achieved in this championship.”

He maintains a consistent goal of competing for major championships, including the Masters, the U.S. Open, and the PGA Championship. He cited fellow Spaniard Jon Rahm as a primary influence, specifically highlighting Rahm’s work ethic and preparation, alongside the consistency demonstrated by Rory McIlroy and Scottie Scheffler.

The timeline for his future goals includes a potential run at the 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles.
