The bats, produced by companies such as Easton and DeMarini, feature a composite aluminum alloy that reduces weight while maintaining structural integrity, according to a 2023 report by Baseball America. “Aluminum bats have long been a staple in youth leagues due to their affordability and performance, but recent models incorporate advanced materials that enhance swing speed and control,” the report noted.
