Uniqlo Launches New ‘Peace for All’ T-Shirt Line Featuring Baseball Champion Manager
On April 17, 2026, Uniqlo officially announced the global release of its latest ‘Peace for All’ T-shirt collection, marking another milestone in the brand’s ongoing initiative to promote peace through fashion. The new line, developed in collaboration with three key partners, became available in Uniqlo stores worldwide and online starting Friday.
The collaboration brings together WBC championship manager Kuriyama, renowned film production and distribution company Toho, and Uniqlo’s strategic partner Toray Industries. Each partner contributed unique design concepts reflecting their respective perspectives on peace, and harmony.
According to Uniqlo’s official announcement, the ‘Peace for All’ series was first launched in June 2022 with the vision of creating a world where everyone can experience peace and coexist harmoniously. Since its inception, the initiative has invited over 50 notable figures, artists, athletes, and organizations worldwide to participate in the design process, integrating peace ideals into minimalist apparel.
A portion of the sales revenue from the collection supports charitable causes. As of December 2025, Uniqlo reported cumulative donations of approximately 128 million yuan in mainland China, equivalent to about 2.87 billion yen based on the exchange rate at that time. By the end of February 2026, global sales of the ‘Peace for All’ T-shirts had surpassed 9.94 million units, demonstrating the initiative’s significant reach and impact.
The three new designs launched on April 17, 2026, each carry distinct interpretations of peace. Kuriyama’s contribution features an illustration of a catch-and-throw game, symbolizing face-to-face communication as the first step toward connection, happiness, and peace. The design appears on both the front and back of the T-shirt, emphasizing the importance of direct interaction in an increasingly digital world.
Toho’s design draws from its legacy as a global leader in film production and distribution, incorporating elements that reflect the unifying power of storytelling and shared cultural experiences. Toray Industries, known for its innovations in textiles and materials, focused on sustainable fabric technologies that align with environmental stewardship as an extension of peacebuilding efforts.
All three new T-shirt designs were priced at 99 yuan upon launch and were made available in sizes ranging from XS to 4XL for online purchases, with in-store availability limited to sizes S through XL. The collection was simultaneously released in Uniqlo’s mainland China retail locations and official e-commerce platform.
The ‘Peace for All’ initiative continues to exemplify how apparel can serve as a medium for social messaging, combining thoughtful design with tangible contributions to peace-related causes. By partnering with influential figures and organizations across sports, entertainment, and industry, Uniqlo reinforces its commitment to using fashion as a vehicle for positive global change.
As the latest collection reaches consumers worldwide, the brand reaffirms its long-term vision of fostering understanding and harmony through accessible, meaningful clothing that transcends cultural and geographical boundaries.
