U15 Maschile Eccellenza: Playoff & Classifiche Finali FVG 2026 – Pallacanestro Trieste Campione!

The Under 15 Maschile Eccellenza league in the Friuli Venezia Giulia region has concluded its second phase, determining which teams will advance in the quest for the national championship. Pallacanestro Trieste finished atop the standings and will move directly to the interregional concentration phase, while Apu Udine secured a spot in the playoff stage and Ueb Cividale will compete in the pre-playoff round. The progression through these stages will ultimately determine which teams contend for the national title.

The competition structure dictates that the top team from the region advances directly to the interregional concentrations, the second-place team enters the playoffs, and the third-place team participates in the pre-playoffs. The pre-playoffs, single-elimination games played on neutral courts, are scheduled for April 19, 2026. Winners will then advance to the playoffs, also single-elimination contests, on April 26, 2026. The victors of the playoff round will join the other regional qualifiers in the interregional concentrations, set to take place from May 1-3, 2026.

The interregional concentrations will feature a unique format. Eight teams will be seeded, one per group, with the remaining teams drawn from different regions to complete each group. The first day of competition will witness teams A play B and C play D within each group. The second day will pit the winners of those matches against the losers of the opposing matches. The final day will feature a game between the team with zero points and the remaining unplayed team, and another between the two remaining teams. In the event of a tie, the league’s Article 62 regarding game regulations will be used to determine the final standings. The top two teams from each concentration will advance to the national finals.

In the final standings of the second phase of the U15E Fvg league, Pallacanestro Trieste emerged undefeated, earning direct qualification to the concentrations. Apu Udine finished second, securing their place in the playoffs, and Ueb Cividale claimed the third spot, qualifying them for the pre-playoffs. The second phase was divided into two groups – Oro (Gold) for the top teams and Argento (Silver) for the remaining four – with a double round-robin format.
