SIROKO Tenerife Faces Laguna, Zamora, and Huesca La Magia B in Badminton Clash

Canary Islands Badminton Teams Prepare for Third Round of National Club League

Six badminton teams from the Canary Islands are set to compete in the third round of the National Club League this weekend, traveling to mainland Spain for crucial matches across multiple divisions. The teams will participate in the Primera Bronce, Segunda Plata, and Segunda Oro divisions as part of the ongoing 2025-2026 season.

In the Primera Bronce division, SIROKO Tenerife will defend its current league leadership when it travels to Valencia to face Bádminton Laguna, Zamora, and Huesca La Magia “B”. The Tenerife team has won all its matches so far this season and enters the round as the division leader.

The matchup in Valencia represents a significant test for SIROKO Tenerife, particularly its Sunday encounter against Huesca La Magia “B”, which remains undefeated in the competition. Huesca La Magia “B” currently sits fourth in the Primera Bronce standings with four wins and two losses, having recently secured three victories in the second round to improve their position.

Meanwhile, in Alfajarín, Zaragoza, four Canary Islands teams will compete in the Segunda Oro division. Auria Bádminton Club will defend its league leadership against the host team Alfajarín, Tenzul El Rosario “B”, and Goose Wings. RSL Candelaria will also compete in this division, facing Tenzul El Rosario “B”, Goose Wings, and Albatros.

in Estella, Navarra, Tenzul El Rosario will participate in the Tercera manga of the Primera Plata division, competing against Drop Valencia, Benalmádena “B”, and Maó as they seek to qualify for the ascent phase to Segunda División Oro.

The Canary Islands contingent represents a significant presence in Spain’s national badminton club structure, with teams competing across three different competitive tiers this weekend. Results from these matches will influence league standings and potential promotion pathways as the season progresses toward its conclusion in May 2026.

Archysport will continue to monitor the outcomes of these matches and provide updates on the Canary Islands teams’ performances in the National Club League.
