S’arc Eivissa and Es Cubells Solidify Position Among Spain’s Archery Elite

The archery clubs from Ibiza, S’arc Eivissa and Es Cubells, have reinforced their standing among Spain’s national elite after a strong showing at the II Gran Premio Iberdrola – GP Villa de Madrid held on April 18-19, 2026. Both teams confirmed their continued presence in the Primera División of the Liga Nacional de Clubes following the competition’s second leg.

In the individual competitions, Nur Gómez Bufí of S’arc Eivissa achieved a fifth-place finish in the women’s compound event, coming close to the podium. Her teammate Cristina Planells Serra secured seventh place in the same category. On the men’s recurve side, Toni Roig Roig from S’arc Eivissa recorded the best result for his club with a fifth-place finish.

For Es Cubells, Jaume Llorens was their top performer in the men’s compound event, finishing in nineteenth position. In the women’s recurve category, Pilar Pascual emerged as the leading archer for S’arc Eivissa.

Beyond individual achievements, the Ibiza delegation’s collective performance secured their league standing. In the women’s compound team classification, Santjosep A and Santjosep B – representing the Ibiza clubs – hold third and eighth positions respectively. The women’s compound team as a whole maintains an impressive second-place standing in the league.

The men’s recurve team from Eivissa Patrimoni leads the national classification with the top position, while the women’s recurve team holds fourth place and the mixed recurve team sits seventh. These results confirm both S’arc Eivissa and Es Cubells remain firmly established in Spain’s top-tier archery competition.

Looking ahead, the archery clubs will continue their campaign in the Liga Nacional de Clubes with upcoming events scheduled throughout the 2026 season. Fans can follow the teams’ progress through official archery federation channels and local sports media outlets.
