Uukha, the French archery equipment manufacturer based in La Rochelle, experienced significant growth throughout 2025, marked by a 40% increase in permanent hiring at its workshop and expanded international distribution.
According to the French Federation of Field Archery (FFTA), Uukha added more than 40% new full-time contracts at its La Rochelle production facility during the year, reflecting increased demand for its bows and accessories.
The company’s global footprint also expanded considerably, with Uukha products now available in over 170 retail stores across 40 countries worldwide. This distribution network represents a key milestone in the brand’s international outreach strategy.
In addition to commercial growth, Uukha maintained an active presence in the archery community through events and sponsorships. The FFTA reported that the company organized more than 20 in-store demonstrations and activations throughout France and Europe during 2025.
These events allowed consumers to test Uukha’s equipment directly, including its signature H-grip technology, which the company highlighted as a versatile innovation in its product line during early 2026 workshop communications.
Uukha’s involvement in competitive archery also continued through its sponsored Team Uukha, which participated in multiple international events throughout 2025. The team competed in both the World Para Archery Championships and the European 3D Championships, achieving notable results across various disciplines.
At the World Para Archery Championships held in Gwangju, South Korea, French archer Guillaume Toucoullet qualified directly for the elimination rounds after scoring 642 points in the qualification round, securing a 9th-place finish overall.
Meanwhile, at the European 3D Championships in Divčibare, Serbia, several Team Uukha ambassadors delivered strong performances. Alicia Baumert placed 5th in the barebow category, while Ludvig Rohlin finished 6th and Steve Adet secured 7th in traditional bow events.
The company’s ambassadors also included Denisa Barankova of Slovakia, who was ranked 11th in the World Archery world rankings and won a gold medal at the 2025 Chengdu World Cup event, according to Uukha’s official website.
These competitive results complemented Uukha’s commercial success, demonstrating the brand’s commitment to both performance equipment development and athlete support across the archery spectrum.
Looking ahead to 2026, Uukha has continued its technical communications, with workshop updates in April highlighting the versatility of its H-grip system and team announcements regarding the conclusion of the indoor season for Team Uukha athletes.
The combination of increased manufacturing capacity, expanded global retail availability, active community engagement, and sustained competitive involvement defines Uukha’s trajectory through 2025 and into the current season.
For archery enthusiasts seeking to follow Uukha’s latest developments, the company maintains regular updates through its official website and social media channels, covering product innovations, team activities, and upcoming events.
