Paris Saint-Germain defender Yoram Zague has expressed deep regret over his dangerous driving incident in Denmark, according to his lawyer, following a court sentence that included 20 days in jail and a three-year driving ban.
The 19-year-old French right-back, currently on loan at Belgian Challenger Pro League club Eupen from PSG, was convicted in December 2025 for driving at 104 km/h in a 50 km/h zone on the Sjaellandsbroen bridge in Copenhagen. The incident occurred while he was on loan at FC Copenhagen during the 2025-26 season.
Zague admitted guilt during proceedings at the Frederiksberg trial, where prosecutor Josefine Samuelsen confirmed he accepted responsibility for his actions. The defender signed his first professional contract with PSG in 2023, effective July 1, 2024 and later received a contract extension in February 2025 that ties him to the Parisian club until 2028. His current loan to Eupen began in June 2025 and is scheduled to run until June 2026.
