Second Korea-China Badminton Friendship Tournament Concludes Successfully in Jeju

The second Korea-China Badminton Friendship Tournament concluded successfully on April 25, 2026, at the Jeicock Badminton Center in Jeju City, South Korea. Organized by the Jeju chapter of the Korea-China Economic, Cultural and Educational Cooperation Association and sponsored by the Consulate General of China in Jeju, the event brought together 100 participants from Korea and China who formed mixed doubles teams to compete in doubles and mixed doubles events.

The tournament opened at 1:00 p.m. Local time with an opening ceremony attended by Consul General Jin Geogun of the Chinese Consulate General in Jeju, Lee Sang-bong, Chairman of the Jeju Provincial Council, Kim Gwang-su, a candidate for Jeju Education Superintendent, and Kang Dong-hoon, President of the Jeju Tourism Association. Consul General Jin emphasized in his congratulatory remarks that the tournament serves as a platform for mutual exchange and learning between the peoples of both nations, hoping it would deepen friendship and cooperation.
