Italian Archery Masters Cup Results: Barebow, Compound, and Recurve

The fifth edition of the Coppa Italia Master concluded in Gubbio, Italy, on September 14, 2025, crowning champions across barebow, compound and recurve disciplines for archers aged 50, and over. Organized by the Arcieri Eugubini with support from Arcieri Augusta Perusia and the Umbria Regional FITARCO Committee, the event drew approximately 350 archers from nearly 100 clubs nationwide, marking record participation for the competition.

Following qualification rounds involving 72 arrows, elimination matches determined the final standings in each class. In the barebow category, Cecilia Campana of Oscar Oleggio Bellinzago secured the women’s 55-59 age group title, while Mario Frassati of Arcieri Alpignano claimed victory in the men’s over-65 division. The compound division saw Micaela Gandolfini of Arcieri Cameri win the women’s title after finishing second in qualification, edging out Cinzia Ferrari of Arco Sport Roma by one point in the final match (107 to 106). Danilo Chinotti of Arcieri delle Alpi earned bronze in the men’s 60-64 compound class despite leading qualification, while Claudio Slaviero of Arcieri Collegno took third in the men’s 50-54 compound category. In recurve, Sara Pivaro of Arcieri Collegno finished second in qualification for the women’s 55-59 group but placed fourth overall after eliminations.

The competition featured Italian-style round-robin elimination rounds, with the top four archers in each class advancing to shoot the final 12 arrows for medal determination. Results were officially published by the Italian Archery Federation (FITARCO) through its media channels, confirming the podium placements across all age and equipment categories.

As the premier national event for master-level archers in Italy, the Coppa Italia Master serves as a key benchmark for senior competitors preparing for international masters events. The next edition is scheduled for 2026, though specific dates and venue have not yet been announced by FITARCO.
