European Archery Circuit Launches in Antalya with First European Grand Prix ANTALYA, Turkey — The outdoor archery circuit makes its seasonal debut this week as Antalya hosts the first European Grand Prix of the year, merging with the historic Spring Arrows tournament for a landmark edition. The competition runs from April 20 to 26, 2026, at the Yil Archery Center in Antalya, one of the world’s largest permanent archery facilities. This venue has served as a regular host for international events over the past decade, according to tournament organizers. This year’s event marks the tenth anniversary of the Spring Arrows tournament, which has been integrated into the European Grand Prix circuit. Organizers report participation has reached its highest level to date, with 303 athletes from more than 30 European nations confirmed for the competition. The field includes athletes from across the continent, along with representation from India, China, Morocco, and Brazil. 21 athletes from Russia and Belarus will compete as Individual Neutral Athletes under the IOC’s framework for international return. Spain’s delegation features eight athletes, joined by Galician club athlete Pablo Belay Fernández of Adarve Club Deportivo, who will also compete in Antalya. Tournament officials note that European Grand Prix events remain open to club athletes, meaning national team selection is not required for participation. The Turkish Archery Federation oversees the Yil Archery Center, which continues to be a key venue for international archery competitions in the region.
