Union Judoclub VHS Horn-Gars secured four medals at the Niederösterreichischen Landesmeisterschaften in Neunkirchen on April 19, 2026, showcasing strong performances across multiple age and weight classes.
The club fielded seven starters in the competition, which featured events for students, U21 athletes, and the general class. Leon Gundinger emerged as the standout performer, capturing gold in the U16 -66 kg division after defeating seven opponents. He added bronze medals in both the U21 -66 kg and general class -66 kg categories, demonstrating consistency across age groups.
Tobias Hofer earned silver in the U14 -60 kg class, reaching the final before narrowly missing the top spot. Theo Gundinger claimed bronze in the U10 -27 kg division, finishing third among 13 competitors.
