Ravens Unveil ‘The Next Flight’ Uniforms with Buchanan and Walker Modeling New Appear
The Baltimore Ravens unveiled their new uniform collection, dubbed ‘The Next Flight,’ during an event at Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, Maryland on Thursday, April 16, 2026. The event marked the first uniform update for the franchise in 26 years, featuring redesigned jerseys, helmets, and accessories developed in partnership with Nike.
Inside linebacker Teddye Buchanan (No. 40) and wide receiver Devontez Walker (No. 81) were among the players who modeled the new uniforms on stage during the unveiling ceremony. Buchanan, who has been working to earn playing time at both inside linebacker positions, and Walker, entering his third NFL season with the Ravens, showcased the updated designs that include a new ‘Midnight Purple’ colorway and Ravens wings featured on the jersey collars.
According to Ravens senior vice president of marketing Brad Downs, the ‘The Next Flight’ collection represents an evolution rather than a complete overhaul of the team’s iconic look. Downs emphasized that the design process, which took three years to finalize, involved at least 15 jersey iterations and numerous helmet variations to ensure the uniforms maintained the franchise’s traditional identity while incorporating modern elements.
The uniforms were debuted in front of an estimated 6,000-plus permanent-seat-license owners in attendance at the Merriweather Post Pavilion event. Other Ravens players who participated in the modeling included outside linebackers Trey Hendrickson, Tavius Robinson, and Mike Green, safety Malaki Starks, running back Justice Hill, and additional teammates who helped demonstrate the new look across various positions.
The unveiling comes amid a broader offseason of change for the Ravens organization, which has seen leadership transitions including the hiring of head coach Jesse Minter and front office adjustments under general manager Eric DeCosta. The team continues to prepare for the upcoming 2026 NFL season through organized team activities and training camp preparations.
As the Ravens move forward with their offseason program, the new uniforms will be worn during the 2026 regular season, beginning with the team’s first scheduled game. The organization plans to make the uniforms available for fan purchase through official team channels following the unveiling event.
