Ventspils Tech Team Advances to Regional League Quarterfinals

Ventspils, Latvia – In their inaugural season in the Aizdevums.lv Regional Basketball League, Ventspils Tech has demonstrated resilience, cohesion, and a high level of play, securing a spot in the quarterfinals amongst a competitive field of 28 teams and continuing their pursuit of a medal.

The team quickly established itself as a contender during the regular season, finishing second in the Western Group. Their success continued into the playoff stage, where they convincingly defeated Salaspils Sporta skola in a two-game sweep to advance.

Playoff Dominance Against Salaspils

The first playoff game against Salaspils Sporta skola was a back-and-forth affair until the third quarter. Ventspils Tech seized control of the game in the third, building a decisive lead and ultimately winning with a final score of 74-58 (17-19, 34-28, 60-43).
