Pradines Badminton Dominates Lot Departmental Youth Championships 2024 | Results & Medals

The Lot Departmental Youth Badminton Championships concluded on Sunday, March 15th, with the Pradines Badminton Club emerging as the dominant force. Nearly 90 young players from across the department competed in the tournament, held over two days – Saturday, March 14th, at the Espère sports hall for doubles play, and Sunday at the Cabessut complex in Cahors for singles competition. The event showcased the rising talent within the region and highlighted the dedication of the young athletes.

Organizers from Pradines Badminton and the Comité 46 Badminton faced logistical challenges in managing the event across two different venues, requiring significant effort to transport and set up all necessary equipment – from playing materials to IT infrastructure and refreshments. Their commitment ensured a smooth and successful competition for all participants.

Pradines Club Secures Majority of Titles

The Pradines Badminton Club enjoyed a particularly successful championship, winning a substantial portion of the available titles. In singles competition, the club’s young players secured an impressive five out of seven possible gold medals.
