Tresoldi’s journey to prominence began in Italy, where he was born in Cagliari, Sardinia, before his family relocated to Gubbio. He initially pursued both football and tennis before committing to the former. In 2017, the family moved to Hanover, Germany, where Tresoldi joined the youth academy of Hannover 96. He progressed through the ranks, impressing at the under-17 and under-19 levels, and signed his first professional contract in January 2022.
After gaining experience with Hannover 96 II, Tresoldi made his debut for the first team in the 2. Bundesliga in July 2022. He continued to develop with Hannover 96, scoring 14 goals in 77 appearances before making the move to Club Brugge. His ability to score goals, combined with his age and potential for further development, makes him an attractive target for teams looking to strengthen their attacking options.
For Club Brugge, the potential sale of Tresoldi represents a significant profit on their initial investment. However, losing a player of his caliber would undoubtedly be a blow to their ambitions. The club will be hoping to secure a deal that reflects his true value and allows them to reinvest in the squad.
As the summer transfer window approaches, the future of Nicolò Tresoldi remains one of the most intriguing storylines in European football. The coming weeks will likely spot increased speculation and negotiations as clubs vie for the signature of this exciting young talent.
