Lavoûte-sur-Loire, France – Following a weekend of competitive badminton, the Ecoplume de l’Emblavez tournament wrapped up Sunday with intense matches in the men’s and women’s doubles categories. Building on the success of the mixed doubles competition held Saturday, the tournament saw sixty teams vying for titles across five courts at the Lavoûte-sur-Loire gymnasium.

Series 1 Results

Men’s Doubles

The Series 1 men’s doubles final saw a victory for Emile Borel (Badminton Club de la Bete Du Gevaudan) and Simon Delplanque (Badminton Club Langonais). They defeated Samuel Bernard (Badminton Club Brives-Charensac Velay) and Jeremy Ducreux (Le Badminton Yssingelais) in the championship match. Gilles Delplanque (Badminton Club Langonais) and Jean-Pierre Levan (Badminton Club Langonais), along with David Antunes (Badminton Club Mendois) and Richard Malbert (Badminton Club Mendois), shared third place.

Women’s Doubles

Laura Valette (Badminton Club Langonais) and Elif Yayla (Badminton Club Langonais) claimed the Series 1 women’s doubles title, besting Clémence Bremond (Badminton Club Mendois) and Mani Brunel (Badminton Club Mendois) in the final. Sonia Ducastel (Badminton Club Mendois) and Sarah Jannarelly (Badminton Club Mendois), as well as Natasha Grieve (Badminton Club Brives-Charensac Velay) and Aurore Treille (Badminton Club Brives-Charensac Velay), finished in a tie for third.

Imran Hossen (Badminton Club Brives-Charensac Velay) and Kilyan Rolland (Badminton Club Brives-Charensac Velay) emerged victorious in the Series 2 men’s doubles competition. They overcame Bertrand Fahys (Badminton Club Mendois) and Samy Robin (Badminton Club Mendois) in the final. Fabien Dumeil (Le Badminton Yssingelais) and Jean Grangeon (Le Badminton Yssingelais), along with Florent Cheynel (Le Badminton Yssingelais) and Manuel Marec (Le Badminton Yssingelais), secured third place.

Women’s Doubles

Marie Gasdeblay (Club Sportif Ambertois Badminton) and Marie-Emilie Lamaison-Lamarque (Club Sportif Ambertois Badminton) took the Series 2 women’s doubles crown, defeating Audrey Artaud (Club Sportif Ambertois Badminton) and Audrey Faye (Club Sportif Ambertois Badminton) in the final. Aurélie Exbrayat (Badminton Club Emblavez) and Julie Lucarelli (Badminton Club Emblavez), along with Lilou Pays (Badminton Club Brives-Charensac Velay) and Rosalie Treille (-18 years ancient, Badminton Club Brives-Charensac Velay), tied for third.

Men’s Doubles

Noé Beaufils (Badminton Club Emblavez) and Sebastien Caudroit (Badminton Club Emblavez) won the Series 3 men’s doubles title, defeating Laurent Garnier (Le Badminton Yssingelais) and Stéphane Ollagnon (La Vaillante Autun – Badminton compétition) in the final. Nicolas Descours (Badminton Club Emblavez) and Vincent Sauvage (Badminton Club Emblavez), as well as Alexandre Dechet (Badminton Club Emblavez) and Stéphane Malfraït (Badminton Club Emblavez), shared third place.

Women’s Doubles

Men’s Doubles

Morgan Desfont (Badminton Club Brives-Charensac Velay) and Corentin Pinard (Badminton Intercommunal du Plateau) claimed the Series 4 men’s doubles title, defeating Simon Ducloux (Badminton Club Emblavez) and Cyrill Morel (Badminton Club Emblavez) in the final. Dorian Gravegeal (Badminton Club Brives-Charensac Velay) and Laurent Margirier (Badminton Club Brives-Charensac Velay) finished in third place.
