Elias Becker: From Tennis Legacy to Rising Star in Fashion and Film
Elias Becker (26) carries one of the most powerful surnames in the world of sports, but he’s forging his own identity far from the tennis court and firmly within the creative universe. The youngest son of tennis icon Boris Becker (58) and designer and yoga instructor Barbara Feltus (59), Elias was born in Munich in 1999 and grew up navigating multiple countries and cultures. Despite his parents’ separation when he was just a year old, he maintained a close relationship with both. He credits his father with instilling discipline and resilience, and his mother with fostering a love for art, fashion, and a more spiritual outlook on life.
In an interview with Tatler, Elias reflected on his childhood with gratitude and spoke about his parents’ divorce: “I had a great childhood. You have to understand that people have their own emotions and needs, and sometimes they simply follow different paths. I think my parents did the right thing.”
Fashion, Music, and Film
Standing at 6’2” (1.88m) with striking green eyes and a well-maintained physique – achieved through pilates, yoga, functional training, and strength exercises – Elias was discovered at 18 and quickly caught the attention of the fashion industry. His first runway show was for Dolce & Gabbana, followed by work with other top brands like Vetements, Ralph Lauren, and Boss. He’s also a passionate DJ.
He’s performed at both private clubs and fashion events, even alongside his older brother, Noah Becker (32), as a duo since 2022. In 2024, he DJ’d a party hosted by Victoria Beckham.
Elias didn’t simply rely on his connections. He pursued a solid academic foundation, beginning his studies at University of the Arts London (UAL), where he explored visual arts and performance. During the pandemic, he made a decisive move to the United States and graduated from New York University (NYU) with a degree in Film a year and a half ago. His ultimate dream? To develop into an actor.
A Creative Partnership
Since 2023, Elias has been dating Swedish-Haitian model Yasmine Dahlberg (25), with whom he collaborates on projects in front of the camera and shares numerous travels. The couple starred in an international campaign for the Italian brand Replay, inspired by the world of tennis, shot between Monte Carlo and Milan.
In an interview with Schön! Magazine, Elias said: “It was very special due to the fact that it was her first big job. The team was incredibly warm, and everything flowed naturally.”
Elias Becker’s path is a testament to forging one’s own way, even with a famous lineage. While his father dominated the world of professional tennis, Elias is making his mark in the creative industries, proving that talent and ambition can flourish in diverse fields. His story is a compelling example of how a supportive upbringing – shaped by a tennis legend and a creative mother, Barbara Feltus – can empower a new generation to pursue their passions and define success on their own terms.
As Elias continues to build his career in both fashion and film, his journey will undoubtedly be one to watch. He’s currently balancing modeling assignments, DJ sets, and exploring opportunities in acting, all while maintaining a strong personal and professional partnership with Yasmine Dahlberg. His next project remains unconfirmed, but with his drive and diverse skillset, it’s clear Elias Becker is poised for continued success.
