Yildiz Fuels Juventus’s Coppa Italia Win After Parma Test

Yildiz had been a big doubt for the Bianconeri after coming off 45 minutes into Sunday’s 4-1 hammering of Parma at the Stadio Tardini. However, according to updates from La Gazzetta dello Sportthe Turkish talent was struggling with muscular fatigue rather than a new injury.

That meant that he was able to take part in Wednesday’s training session, albeit not for the full extent of the workout.

According to Wednesday’s reports, Yildiz is expected to travel with the Bianconeri squad for Thursday’s Coppa Italia quarter-final away against Atalanta. He is not currently expected to start, but could potentially feature from the substitutes’ bench in the second half.

Yildiz is also on the verge of putting pen to paper on a new and improved contract extension, which is expected to make him one of Juventus’s highest-paid players.
