Wembanyama: Spurs’ Rookie Dominates with 25 Points, 8 Rebounds & 5 Blocks

Victor Wembanyama (22, France), the ‘basketball monster’ of the San Antonio Spurs of the American National Basketball Association (NBA), showed tremendous power and was responsible for the team’s victory.

Wembanyama started in the home game against Orlando Magic in the 2025-2026 NBA regular season held at Frostbank Center in San Antonio, Texas, USA on the 2nd (Korean time). He took the basic position as San Antonio’s center and walked the court for 27 minutes and 57 seconds. It didn’t just stay under the goal. He was active in all directions and was in full swing.

Keldon Johnson (14 points, 10 rebounds) and Dylan Harper (15 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists), who were brought in as substitutes, showed good performances. Darren Parks, who started as a starter, contributed with a double-double with 14 points and 10 assists.

Orlando lost to San Antonio at home, recording a season record of 25 wins, 23 losses, and a winning percentage of 0.521. They remained in 8th place in the Eastern Conference. They are 0.5 games behind the 7th place Miami Heat (27-24 losses, 0.529 winning percentage) and 2 games ahead of the 9th place Chicago Bulls (24-26 losses, 0.480 winning percentage). Desmond Bain scored 25 points and Paolo Bankero contributed 19 points and 10 rebounds, but they were unable to stop San Antonio’s momentum and suffered a bitter defeat.
