Södertälje continues to invest.
Now they have finished with a loan from SHL.
Center Valter Lindberg has received sparing playing time in the SHL as of late. In five of the last six games, the 19-year-old has played less than ten minutes for Skellefteå AIK.
Now he is loaned to Södertälje for the final sprint of the season. The agreement involves double registration, which means that Lindberg can represent both clubs for the rest of the season. Skellefteå had a similar arrangement last season when Oskar Vuollet was registered for Mora IK, but then there was never a game as Mora’s season ended quickly and Skellefteå had injuries.
Martin Lundberg will soon be playing for Skellefteå, who will however lose Oliver Okuliar and Mikkel Aagaard to the Olympics, and then Lindberg may also be needed.
SSK has filled up with players all season
Valter Lindberg has been recorded for eleven points in 39 SHL games this season. In Södertälje, he gets a chance for increased playing time and development in a SSK that is chasing the top six and a quarter-final place.
SSK has already made several adjustments to the squad and now continues to act before the deadline. During the course of the season, Niclas Westerholm (from BK Mladá Boleslav), Teemu Väyrynen (JYP), William Eriksson (Almtuna), Viktor Liljegren (clubless) and Filip Windlert (AIK) have joined the squad. Arvid Costmar has also been loaned out for a shorter period.
