Trégunc: Sports & Community Life in Brittany

With its 130 members, the Trégunc Badminton Club continues its development around an associative project supported by an office keen to diversify the activities offered, particularly for young people. Beyond sports practice, the club is multiplying initiatives: outing to Aven Parc in the spring, bowling, or even a blackminton session organized last December, which brought together forty-eight young people.

Engaged in Nationale 3

On a sporting level, the season remains undecided for the flag team. Currently fifth in Nationale 3 (N3), a place synonymous with relegation, the club still has five matches to aim for fourth place and ensure maintenance. The other teams show a more favorable outlook. The Regional 3 (R3) is on track to maintain its position, while the Departmental 2 (D2) can claim an increase notes President Cindy Dréo.

The club also makes clear budgetary choices. There are big differences in means in N3. Some teams, like Quimperlé, recruit and pay players from Slovakia or Germany. For our part, we prefer to invest in other stocks explains Cindy Dréo.

This strategy is made possible thanks to the support of a dozen local partners, in Trégunc and the surrounding area, guaranteeing healthy cash flow. Renovation of the gym floor is planned for the summer.

Dematerialization of registrations

On the young side, the club can count on great promises, like Aimery Priour, 8 years old, licensed for four seasons, who distinguished himself during the 4e stage of the youth circuit in Douarnenez, early January; or Grégoire Tullier, 7 years old, member of the club for two years. The Trégunc Badminton Club has also modernized the management of its memberships. We have created an account on HelloAsso, allowing members to submit their documents and pay their membership fees online. specifies Cindy Dréo. A system that was popular since 108 registrations were made this way this season, facilitating administrative monitoring and health certificates.

The club continues to integrate licensees and also accepts holiday vouchers, while offering a family reduction of €10, from the second registration.

The club will organize a lottery in Melgven at the beginning of August, as well as the Ty Glaz tournament, which will take place in Rosporden on April 25 and 26.
