“To be honest, today is a little emotional I think about this since yesterday, I know my grandfather was born 100 years ago here,” impressed Thom Haye.
“So I really looked at it, thought about winning here, and I was very enthusiastic. It’s a special day for the family too, so I’m happy to win,” explained Haye.

Solo Football Atmosphere
Thom Haye assesses that overall Solo has a good football atmosphere, like what he saw and felt when playing at Manahan.
“I think overall, if you look at the stadium (Manahan), this is one of the best stadiums we have played in this season,” said Haye.
Unfortunately, he doesn’t have much time in Solo to take a walk to enjoy the beauty of the city.
However, he was determined to return to the city and enjoy more of his grandfather’s hometown.
“Yes, it’s difficult because we and the team are in the hotel too much. But I try to go around and enjoy it. But I also want to come back when I have time,” he said.
